The interactive start-up screen Sky Home which German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland launched on the digital receivers of its DTH satellite subscribers in January 2014 is now also available to cable customers.
The entry portal which viewers can customise for their personal interests appears automatically when turning on the Sky receiver.
Sky Home gives an overview of Sky’s programme line-up and provides editorial recommendations for selected programmes, both on the linear Sky channels and on video-on-demand (VOD) service Sky Anytime. The children’s section Kids TV shows the current and next programmes on the children’s channels.
Sky Home is also directly accessible through the red button of the remote control.
