WATCH VIDEO. Switzerland’s national telco Swisscom has expanded the TV Replay function of its IPTV platform Swisscom TV with customers now being able to view TV programmes up to 7 days after their original broadcast instead of the former 30 hours.
The number of channels on which the TV Replay service is available grows from 70 to more than 250 channels of which 70 are offered in HD quality.
The recording function has also been extended: Through a cloud-based solution, customers can now record as many TV programmes in parallel as they like – up to a total storage capacity of 1,000 hours.
Swisscom TV 2.0 turns viewers into their own programme directors, allowing them to decide for themselves which programmes they want to watch, when and on which device,” Swisscom CEO Urs Schaeppi said in Bern.
