Partnership for Clearleap and iStreamPlanet

April 3, 2014 13.31 Europe/London By Robert Briel

clearleapClearleap has partnered with iStreamPlanet to provide a complete solution ensuring smooth transitions of premium, linear live content to connected multiscreen devices.

The integration helps premium content owners such as leading sports leagues, TV networks, and broadcasters quickly activate and execute their overall multiscreen strategy and swiftly distribute live event and live linear content across screens, meeting the technological challenges and robust requirements necessary for live video deployments.

iStreamPlanet’s cloud-based live video streaming platform, Aventus, combined with Clearleap’s flexible, modular platform creates a holistic and scalable multiscreen offering for best-in-class linear streaming.

The integration allows for the capture, management and retransmission of live video to virtually any connected device, from live sporting events to reality tv show competitions to breaking news.

At its core, the partnership provides a joint solution to help simplify the complexities in meeting the growing market demand for premium live content across screens.

“Our focus has always been on premium video content and ensuring that we have the technology partners that match our high standard for handling multiscreen deployments,” said David Mowrey, product management at Clearleap.

“Together, Clearleap and iStreamPlanet’s complementary platforms provide a complete service that simplifies the technological logistics behind transiting linear live content to multiscreen devices.”

“Premium content owners and distributors are ready to take advantage of the explosive growth of live streaming on connected devices,” said Robin Cole, VP of business development and marketing at iStreamPlanet.

“Combining the cloud-based efficiencies of Aventus with Clearleap’s platform enables our customers to accelerate the launch of live events and channels.”
