German cable operator NetCologne and its sister company NetAachen will add new TV services to their cable network.
TLC, the new women’s channel from Discovery Networks Deutschland, will be distributed from its day of launch on April 10, 2014.
At the same time, NetCologne and NetAachen will increase the public TV portfolio: The local windows of WDR Fernsehen for the cities Aachen, Bonn, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal which have so far only been carried in their respective local coverage areas will be available throughout the whole cable network from April 10.
NetCologne and NetAachen will also participate in ProSiebenSat.1’s HD Easter special: Sat.1 HD, ProSieben HD, kabel eins HD, sixx HD and ProSieben Maxx HD will be available free-to-air between Good Friday, April 18, and Easter Monday, April 21. The channels are normally encrypted and offered for an additional fee.
