In order to accelerate the operation and to hit the ground running, Skyline has reached an agreement to acquire the DataMiner-related assets and engineering teams from its business partner Ventronix, which has been fundamental for numerous DataMiner deployments in the region.
Skyline is a provider of end-to-end multi-vendor network management solutions for the satellite, broadcast, IPTV and HFC broadband industries.
“Over the last year, we have signed a record number of very prestigious contracts for leading operators across the Americas. Because of the very unique value proposition, market demand is growing rapidly for the next generation end-to-end network management technology that DataMiner is synonymous with,” commented Ben Vandenberghe, sales and marketing director at Skyline Communications.
“With direct local market presence, our corporate goal is to further enhance the support for our growing customer base, and to underline our long-term commitment as the undisputed global leader in multi-vendor network management software. Amongst others, the office will be staffed with a very talented team of system engineers, seasoned already in complex DataMiner deployments, offering our customers everything from technical support to expert professional services. The team will be led by Mr Roger Bijos, who will also serve as Skyline’s Sales Director for the region.”
