Dutch public broadcaster NOS has secured the rights to Eredivisie football for the next three seasons.
NOS will continue to broadcast summaries of the games for a three-year period starting with the 2014/15 season. Live coverage of all Eredivisie games are available on the Fox Sports Eredivisie premium channels.
NOS was bidding for a continuation of the rights along side commercial broadcaster SBS as well as Fox.
Fox International Channels launched a free-to-view Fox channel last August and joined the bidding for the summary broadcasts. The channel currently shows a mix of TV series and movies as well as a regular football talk show.
Fox Sports Eredivisie will remain the home of Dutch national soccer leagues. Fox Sports Eredivisie is managed by Eredivisie Media & Marketing (EMM), a FIC majority-owned joint venture between FIC, the 18 Eredivisie teams, KNVB and Endemol.
