Banaxi, the new multinational VOD packed with premium Hollywood content, has kicked off business in Poland, Serbia and Hungary on Sharp devices.
Banaxi will soon be available in over 14 other countries and on other smart TV portals.
Geramn NetRange said it “is very happy about our close cooperation with Banaxi. First, it helps us to further grow in various markets such as Eastern Europe. Second, it makes life much easier for our hardware partners as one VOD implementation provides a huge number of markets with a superior VOD offering.”
On NetRange portals Banaxi is using both the NetRange VoD API and the new NetRange VoD test suite “resulting in massively reduced implementation efforts on smart TV platforms like Sharp, where it took us only a couple of days to launch the service.”
