FilmoTV launches on Sony with Dotscreen

FilmoTV screensUPDATED. Dotscreen has been selected by FilmoTV to develop its on-demand subscription movie service on Sony’s Playstation 3 and 4 game consoles and on smart televisions of the Japanese manufacturer.

Designed and developed by the Dotscreen teams, the FilmoTV service is the first SVOD offer in France on Playstation, readily available in the PS store. The service is also available on Bravia connected televisions within the application store.

The FilmoTV service on Playstation 3 and 4 is a comprehensive offer providing hundreds of movies in adaptive streaming, FilmCloud function (multi-screen), integrated barker channel, personalised recommendations, a section with numerous free contents (exclusive interviews, shows, testimonies…), subscription in addition to fluid and intuitive navigation.

FilmoTV wotked with French based company Hubee for the deployment on Philips, LG and Samsung smart TVs as long-term partners.

FilmoTV is available on all types of screens (computer via www.filmotv.fr; Samsung, LG and Philips smart TVs; tablets; smartphones; Numéricâble box, Orange TV), in streaming or download for increased mobility.
