Harmonic appoints Everth Flores

March 5, 2014 09.14 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Harmonic-EverthFloresHarmonic has appointed Everth Flores as senior director, global accounts and business development, for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

In his new role, Everth will drive cable opportunities and channel sales within the region, with an emphasis on increasing deployments of Harmonic’s NSG Pro converged cable access platform.

“Everth has a broad perspective on the industry and its players, which will be valuable toward expanding Harmonic’s sales in key accounts,” said Ian Graham, vice president sales, EMEA, Harmonic.

“Since channels are a key part of our growth initiative for 2014 and beyond, Everth will also be focused on yielding significant results in this area. Based on his understanding of the region, industry technologies, and strong customer relationships, we’re confident that Everth will make a winning contribution to our worldwide sales efforts.”

Everth is a seasoned global sales executive with nearly 20 years of experience serving cable, telco, digital media, and OTT service providers in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. An industry veteran, Everth’s experience has given him a broad perspective on the development of the industry and the impact that it has on a service provider’s customer base.

Prior to joining Harmonic, Everth’s served as Cisco’s general manager and senior director of operations for the service provider sector in EMEA, responsible for the video and connected home business. He also held business development and sales positions at Scientific Atlanta, Trilogy Communications, and Cable Link, where he was instrumental in establishing successful channel structures and increasing sales revenue. He has a bachelor degree in international business administration from Otterbein College and a Mini-MBA from Emory University.

Everth is based out of Belgium and will report directly to Ian Graham.
