Turner Broadcasting has appointed Lesley Bailey to the newly created role of VP of channel marketing and brand management for its EMEA business.
Bailey, who will report directly to Patricia Hidalgo, SVP content and creative officer, EMEA, will be based in the company’s regional head offices in London.
She will be responsible for leading Turner Broadcasting’s kids channel marketing and brand management strategy; delivering comprehensive marketing and franchise plans underpinned by competitive and audience insights.
Bailey previously held senior marketing and brand management roles for entertainment companies including Walt Disney and HiT Entertainment.
She was the launch marketing director for Disney Channels Scandinavia, developed the marketing strategy for free-to-air Disney Channel Russia; and held pan EMEA channel marketing and brand management roles for all Disney Channels. At HiT she recently worked on a comprehensive global Thomas & Friends brand positioning.
