The Czech national transmission company Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRa) has started the next phase of its DVB-T2 test broadcasts.
In a statement, the company says this follows receiving permission from the Czech Telecom Office (CTU) to continue the tests, which will be undertaken with the public broadcaster Ceske Televize (CT) and involve 4K and also look into the possibility of interference to DVB-T2 reception by new high-speed mobile networks (LTE).
This next phase can be continued until November 30 this year.
In its earlier testing of DVB-T2, which finished on January 10, the CRa looked at HDTV and pay-TV.
