Euronews has teamed up with Nokia and Microsoft to launch two news applications.
The applications, for Windows Phone 8 smartphones and Windows 8 tablets and PCs, provide the latest news features on international, economic, cultural and scientific topics, as well as VOD magazines.
They are accessible worldwide and offer a choice of 11 languages: English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Ukrainian.
More programmes and features including live streams, news quiz, bookmarks for favourite news stories and a search engine will be added over the next few months, as well as two more languages, namely Arabic and Persian.
