
Hendrik de Groot
With effect of April 18, 2014, Hendrik de Groot, currently managing director of business-to-business at Ziggo, is appointed as new CCO and member of the management board of Ziggo.
Nijhoff is leaving the organisation with “mutual agreement”. Andrew Sukawaty, chairman of the supervisory board said: “Marcel has played an important role in making Ziggo the successful company it is today. His knowledge and expertise contributed significantly, especially at the introduction of Ziggo in 2008 as a result of the merger of three local cable companies. On behalf of all members of the Supervisory Board, I would like to thank Marcel Nijhoff for his valuable contributions during his tenure.”

Hendrik de Groot has been managing director of business-to-business at Ziggo since January 2010. Before he joined Ziggo, he served as group director voice products at Colt Telecommunications since 2006 and head global accounts at Vodafone Group since 2003. Prior to that he held functions at MCI International and BT Benelux.
