
The Lithuanian incumbent TEO ended 2013 with a total of 172,300 TV subscribers, the number using its IPTV service increasing by 12.2% during the year thanks to the introduction of interneto.tv, a new generation internet TV service for smart devices.
TEO’s internet subscriber total at year’s end meanwhile stood at 431,000, up 11.7% on a year earlier.
TEO’s total consolidated revenues in 2013 amounted to LTL720.6 million (€208.1 million), down from LTL760.2 million a year earlier.
Its EBITDA margin wax 40.6% (40.4%) and net profit LTL149.2 million (LTL159.1 million).
Revenue growth was strongest from internet, IT and TV services, as well as the number of customers using them.
In the case of TV services, they increased by 8.1% in 2013.
TEO invested LTL154 million in 2013, with the majority (LTL122 million) allocated to the further expansion of the core network and development of the next generation fibre-optic access network.
TEO ended 2013 with 804,000 homes passed, or 67% of the country’s households, by its FTTH network.
