The leading Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV has announced more senior managerial appointments.
Mikhail Goryachev, the former head of TV content at Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), is now the director of content – a position that has been vacant since July 2013.
According to Tricolor TV, the main challenge he faces is the implementation of a new strategic approach to pay-TV services, as well as the operational management of the TV content department.
He will also take over the coordination of the development of related business, in particular additional services and non-linear TV viewing.
Meanwhile, Elizabeta Karpalova has been appointed the new director of public relations, taking over from Anna Sopova, who left the company in November 2013.
Also, Alexey Karpov has taken on the newly created position of director of sales and customer service.
