Fox International Channels will broadcast Super Bowl XLVIII live on its channels in Europe for the first time.
The NFL’s championship game will be available live to more than 12 million households on Fox Sports in Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey and Cyprus, and on Fox in Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
Super Bowl XLVIII, featuring the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks and the AFC Champion Denver Broncos, takes place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday, February 2, 2014, with the live European broadcast beginning at 00.25am (CET) on Monday, February 3, 2014.
This will be the first time the Super Bowl is broadcast live on the FIC channels in Europe.
The Fox production of the Super Bowl from the US will feature play-by-play announcer Joe Buck and analyst NFL Hall of Famer Troy Aikman, television’s premier NFL broadcast team, calling the action with Pam Oliver and Erin Andrews reporting from the sidelines.
