Russia’s leading broadcaster Channel One will use Elemental Live systems to stream the upcoming Sochi 2014 Olympics.
During the Games,solutions from Elemental will stream nine channels of Channel One Olympics live and time-shifted TV content in 12 Adobe HDS H.264 profiles to STB, PC, iPhone, Android, tablet and smart TV devices.

Last year, Channel One used Elemental Live during the “Direct Line with President Putin” broadcast over the internet. Elemental systems performed live video processing during the several-hour long interactive programme featuring Vladimir Putin answering questions from Russian citizens.
