CTAM Europe to launch programme with INSEAD

January 21, 2014 10.46 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Krisztina HomolayCTAM Europe will launch an Executive Management course with business school INSEAD, managing director Krisztina Homolay announced today.

The programme is an intensive, week-long course targeted at top executives and is highly-relevant to the cable, telecommunications and media sectors. It will run fro June 23-27, 2014 at the Europe campus in Fontainebleau, France.

The programme’s five-day curriculum has been developed and customised by INSEAD faculty for CTAM Europe. Topics include Strategy, Customer Centric Value Innovation, Service Management, Digital Media, Value Creation in Finance and Leadership, among others. INSEAD’s research and case studies specific to the cable industry will enable CTAME to offer participants valuable insights and provide companies in the European media industry with a world-class, strategic executive programme.

“We are very excited about the programme and our partnership with INSEAD – a school that has more than 40 years of experience in delivering tailored executive education programmes to global companies through top-level international faculty. We feel that INSEAD faculty understand the needs, cultural factors, challenges and opportunities of their clients, and are therefore able to produce relevant research, material, cases and points of view to deliver world class programmes,” said Homolay.

The programme will be offered to senior executives in European cable, content and technology supplier businesses. Companies must have valid CTAM Europe membership in order to qualify.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for all cable distribution and content CEOs to engage their senior executives. The programme will help them improve their management skills and create opportunities to network with industry colleagues in a world-class academic environment,” said Eric Tveter, chairman of CTAM Europe and CEO of upc cablecom Switzerland.

Annet Aris, programme director and Professor of Strategy at INSEAD, added: “We are delighted to work together with CTAM and engage with the top talent in the European cable industry. The cable industry is going through a major transition and will become one of the key enablers in the digital world. The programme is specifically designed to help them understand industry challenges and opportunities from strategic, customer and organizational perspectives, and will combine the latest academic insights with senior industry expertise.”

CTAM Europe is modelling the course after a hugely-successful Executive Management Program it has run for many years with the Harvard Business School in North America.
