Poland’s leading DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat is making 42 channels, 10 of which are in HD, available to all its subscribers as part of a special promotional ‘open window’.
Thirty seven of the channels, from BBC Worldwide, AMC Networks, Viacom, Viasat, CBS, Fox International Channels, Turner Broadcasting System and Scripps Networks Interactive will be available free of charge until March 2, and five from CBS and AXN until the end of March.
Separately, local reports say an EGM at Cyfrowy Polsat failed to reach a unanimous agreement on the company’s takeover of Polkomtel.
The meeting was adjourned to January 23.
