He replaces Bernt Andersson will continue to support the company as part of the management team.
Blizoo’s owner Swedish private equity fund EQT has praised Andersson for his achievements in completing the transformation of the company and for creating a solid base for the next level of business development that will be led by Rösch. Rösch has been a board member of Blizoo since May 2012.
Prior to that, he served as CEO of the German operator Kabel BW GmbH, CEO of HanseNet and MD of the Internet Business Unit at Telecom Italia.
Blizoo is the leading cable operator in Bulgaria and provides services in over 40 cities throughout the country. Its bundled offer includes over 150 TV channels, 25 of which are in HD, along with internet access at up to 150 Mbps and no-fee telephony services.
