The Italian DTH platform Tivùsat gained over 320,000 activations in 2013, ending the year with 2,044,000 active smart cards.
The most growth was seen in the regions of Sicily, Lombardy and Piedmont, while the highest penetration of the platform was seen in Calabria, Liguria and Molise.
Tivùsat currently offers viewers 68 channels, some of which are in HD, along with 38 radio stations.
They include Rai and Mediaset services, along with LA7, Real Time and DMax (Discovery), Cielo (Sky Italia), Deejay tv (L’Espresso), TV2000 and channels from the LT Multimedia group, Class, QVC and Home Shopping Europe, along with a number of international channels.
