Your.TV signs deal with NetRange

January 6, 2014 20.39 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Your.TV has signed an agreement with NetRange for the distribution of linear TV channels on all NetRange CE brand partners.

Philips smart TVYour.TV, the pan-European whitelabel IPTV operator, is already available on Philips smart TVs, which was demoed at last year’s IFA in Berlin.

The agreement fits within Your.TV’s strategy to support broadcasters and operators to exploit and support their business through an end-to-end package of managed IPTV services,” according to the company.

Your.TV has a primary focus on worldwide distribution of TV channels to operators and monetisation of TV channels on connected TVs with its white label proposition for operators and TV channels. The solution will be first shown to potential customers on CES in Las Vegas at the NetRange booth LVCC.

Gijs Davelaar, CEO Your.TV, said: “Cloud broadcasting and our connected TV services are a must-have for broadcasters and rights owners in order to control and reach their audiences via operators and connected TVs in the change of the TV industry to IP distribution. With the launch of Your.TV Connected on NetRange we are able to offer a business to business solution to new and existing customers that want to offer more TV channels to multiple devices and on connected TVs.”

“The market for IPTV is becoming a global one. Your.TV Connected supports international TV channels to monetise their TV channels and create incremental revenues in a joint business model with operators that want to launch on connected TVs. By using our Cloud broadcasting solution we can source any TV channel around the globe and distribute to NetRange Connected TVs in premium broadcast quality without the need of using satellite, we can offer our customers a one-stop-shop solution” said Gilbert van den Heiligenberg, COO, Your.TV.
