The Ukrainian incumbent Ukrtelecom has launched a new online on demand service named OGO!TV.
Available to customers of the company’s OGO! broadband offer, at speeds of up to 24Mbps and irrespective of tariff, it gives access to popular Ukrainian channels, thousands of licensed movies, sports events and programmes from a library of legal content on a specially created site.
It also includes popular domestic and international series, along with movie premieres immediately following their theatrical release.
OGO!TV is available on PCs, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and ordinary TVs using a set-top box provided by Ukrtelecom.
It is being offered for a promotional price of UAH1 (€0.09) for the first month.
Last July Ukrtelecom launched an online on demand service named OGO!Cinema in partnership with the Ukrainian streaming content provider oll.tv.
Separately, Ukrtelecom has announced that OGO! gained 100,000 subscribers last year, reaching a total of 1,640,000 as of December 20.
OGO! also added 124 more towns throughout Ukraine to its coverage area in 2013.
