Volia grows DOCSIS 3.0 base

volia-grafitiThe number of customers opting for high-speed internet access from Ukraine’s leading cable operator Volia has doubled this year.

According to the company, there are now nearly 145,000 using DOCSIS 3.0 modems, which can significantly reduce the overall load on the network.

It adds that the next step will be the transition to a new Euro-DOCSIS standard, which is has already been in use in the city of Lutsk for several months.

Volia is one of the three main providers of internet services in Ukraine.
