Russia’s Gazprom-Media is in talks to buy the production company Gudstorimedia.
According to Kommersant, the purchase price will be in the region of $50 million, with the deal following on shorty after another major transaction that saw Gazprom-Media agreeing late last month to acquire ProfMedia from Vladimir Potanin for in the region of $700-800 million, excluding debt.
ProfMedia’s interests include the TV channewls TV-3, Pyatnitsa and 2×2.
Gudstorimedia is currently owned by Artem Loginov (40%), Anton Shchukin (35%) and Anton Zaytsev (25%) and if a deal with Gazprom-Media is finalised it is unlikely to continue working with CTC Media.
