Romania’s leading cable and DTH operator RCS&RDS has launched a new online entertainment platform.
Known as Digi TV Online, it is available as an app for smartphones and tablets, initially via Google Play Store (Android 4.0 and above) and the App Store (iPhone 4 and iPad2).
However, in due course it will also be accessible on the sire www.digionline.ro, as well as Windows mobile devices.
The new platform will give access to entertainment and information anytime, anywhere and include the proprietary channels Digi Sport 1, 2 and 3 and Digi Sport live, along with national and region channels (seven local).
It will also offer major sporting events shown exclusively by Digi24 and Digi Sport, plus archive material from all genres.
The app to receive Digi TV Online is being offered for free to RCS&RDS TV and fixed internet subscribers and can be accessed via devices connected to Digi Net or Digi Net Mobil.
