Russia’s second DTT multiplex is now broadcasting in the capital, Moscow, and surrounding region.
In a statement, the Russian Television and Radio Centre (RTRS) says the multiplex RTRS-2, in 24 TVK employing DVB-T2, is offering viewers a package of nine channels.
They are Ren TV, Spas, CTC, Domashnij, NTV+ Sport Plus, Zvezda, Mir, TNT and Muz TV, with a tenth – either TV3 or Dozhd – to be added following the completion of a contest on December 18.
RTRS also points out that the first multiplex in Moscow and region employs two standards, namely DVB-T2 in 30 TVK and the previous 34 TVK
