The Lithuanian incumbent Teo and cable operator Cgates have extended agreements with Tele-3 and Lietuvos Rytas TV.
Quoted by Verslo Zinios, Laura Blazeviciute, the general manager of Tele-3, which operates the channels TV3, TV6 and TV8, said the company now plans to complete negotiations with other partners by the New Year.
Negotiations still have to be concluded with Init, which provides TV services to 120,000 households.
According to Paulius Zivatkauskas, its general director, Tele-3 has been asking for a 30% increase in retransmitting its channels.
Lietuvos Rytas TV, for which Init had not previously paid, was also now looking for a fee.
