Romania’s RCS&RDS is planning to launch an internet TV service named Digi Online.
Quoting media industry sources, Mediafax reports that the company has already sought to register the name as a trademark.
It also registered the domain digi-online.ro on October 1 but has yet to submit documentation to the National Audiovisual Council (CNA), whose permission it needs to launch a service.
RCS&RDS is the leading cable and DTH operator in Romania.
It also provides internet and both fixed line and mobile telephony services and plans to enter the radio market in Romania.
