TDC has purchased the fibre operator ComX and its subscriber households in Copenhagen and North Zealand.
ComX was established in 2002 and was among the pioneers of fiber-based television and broadband products in the Danish market.
Around 34,000 households are served with TV, broadband and IP telephony. ComX has specialised in delivery to so-called ‘organised customers’ within apartment blocks, etc.
“ComX fits perfectly into TDC’s strategy in this market. TDC is the provider of the far the strongest and most flexible infrastructure for this type of customer, and we underpin the acquisition of ComX, says Peter Trier Schleidt, director, TDC Operations.
No immediate changes for ComX customers are envisaged.
