The Czech music channel Fajnrock TV will make its debut as a digital terrestrial service this Friday, November 15.
According to Digizone, it will be made available to viewers in Prague and Central Bohemia, thereby increasing the total number of channels they can receive terrestrially to 32.
Fajnrock TV was launched in May 2012 and has until now been distributed only over the internet and by some cable operators, including UPC.
It is seen as a direct competitor to Rebel, a channel owned by Radim Parizek, and will be carried on the regional multiplex (4) operated by Leos Pohl.
Fajnrock offers viewers Czech and foreign movies from the 60s to present, exclusive profiles of Czech and international rock stars, recordings of concerts, news from Czech and foreign rock events, airtime for lesser-known Czech rock bands, authored programmes and competitions.
