Eurosport is one of the launch partners for the new Xbox One console which will be available in Europe from November 22.
Customers in six major European markets, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the UK, who buy the new Xbox One console and take the Xbox Live Gold subscription will be able to access the Eurosport Player app, which is an online simulcast service of the Eurosport and Eurosport 2 channels, in its Entertainment hub.
The Eurosport Player gives sports fans access to all Eurosport’s live action and also offers additional features around major live events including bonus channels and catch-up services.
For the forthcoming Australian Open tennis Grand Slam for example subscribers can enjoy exclusive live action from up to seven different courts at the tournament.
The Eurosport content on Xbox One will be available in four languages, English, German, Italian and Spanish.
Eurosport is extending its relationship with Xbox having already made the Eurosport Player available to Xbox Live customers on the Xbox 360 console from July 2013.
