According to the company, this 9.4% increase “is mainly attributable to higher IPTV revenues driven by the growing IPTV subscriber base, both in Hungary and at our foreign subsidiaries. The fast growth of the IPTV customer base, helped by the development of our high speed internet network, demonstrates the increasing popularity of interactive television. Growth in satellite TV revenues was due to the higher number of customers compared to the same quarter last year. These increases were partly offset by lower cable TV revenues owing to the fact that an increasing number of existing subscribers have been migrating over to IPTV services in Hungary.”
