The Croatian regulator Hakom has announced that it has received bids from Vipnet and Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) for the still unassigned segment of the country’s digital dividend.
According to Hakom, the latter amounts to 20MHz in two blocks (A: 801-806/842-847MHz and B: 806-811/847-852MHz).
Vipnet has offered HRK110,144,999 (€14,432,700) for A and T-HT HRK105,110,000, while only the size of T-HT’s bid for B (HRK105,652,000) is known.
Hakom will make a final decision on the bids in the first half of November.
This will follow an analysis and verification of the tender documentation, with the criterion used for selecting the winners being the highest bid lodged.
The total amount paid for licences for the entire digital dividend, valid until 2024, is likely to amount to HRK1 billion.
