David Stogel has been appointed deputy DG of TV Nova, the leading broadcaster in the Czech Republic.
This follows the decision of Jan Andrusko to step down as general director at the end of the month.
Stogel has over 20 years of TV broadcasting experience in the CEE region and was previously at TV Nova, which is owned by CME, as its programming director from 2005 until 2011.
He also worked on various development projects for CME in the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany and Romania.
Furthermore, as one of the first employees of CME in 1993, he helped successfully launch TV Nova in 1994 and Pro TV in Romania in 1995.
Andrusko became the general director of TV Nova in early 2011, taking over from Petr Dvorak, who went on to head the public broadcaster CT.
