The fixed broadband sector grew in all sectors in Hungary in August, with the total number of connections at the end of the month amounting to 2,243,000.
Cable accounted for 920,287, based on data provided by market leaders covering 82.8% of all cable connections, with DOCSIS 3.0 claiming 362,233.
The number of FTTx connections was 342,789, based on data covering 99% of all such subscriptions, while the number of xDSL subscriptions, based on data obtained from market leaders covering almost 98% of all xDSL subscriptions, was 769,630.
T-Home remained the market leader in the fixed broadband sector with a share of 35.5%, followed by UPC with 21.8% and Digi with 13.8%.
