Apple pulled its latest Apple TV 6.0 update within hours after users started to complain about a variety of problems.
The company has now put a new build of 6.0 available for download, presumably fixing the issues owners were experiencing including loss of library, slow downloads and ‘bricking’ of Apple TVs.
Apple TV offers a host of new features including AirPlay from iCloud support, iTunes Music Store shopping, podcast syncing, and iTunes Radio streaming (only in the US).
The original 6.0 update was made available at the same time as iOS 7.0, but Apple TV owners immediately started to complain about serious issues – including a box freeze and complete loss of everything.
Apple was quick to respond but it looks like the company released the original update in a hurry without proper checks.
