In the broadband sector, fixed-line services can now be received by 98% of Hungarians, while the availability of next generation services is higher than the EU average.
On the other hand, penetration is lower than it should be. What is more, while DSL is still dominant in Europe as a whole, it has been overtaken by cable in Hungary.
