The Munich court of appeal has confirmed a verdict of the lower Munich state court in the case against cloud-PVR service Save.TV Limited.
The ProSiebenSat.1 group has complained that Save.TV was allowing its programmes to be recorded in the cloud.
In the original proceedings the Munich court acknowledged the rights by ProSiebenSat.1 to stop Save.TV from using its programmes in a verdict on August 9, 2012.
The court of appeal has nog confirmed this earlier ruling by a lower court stating that Save.TV Limited is infringing the rights of the broadcaster and can no longer pick up the broadcast signals and make it available for online recording.
