Dutch telecom operator KPN has started a nine-month trial bringing to HBO Go app to its top-tier customers.
During the pilot, KPN customers will be able to view the complete HBO Go service at no additional cost. The data traffic is also not deducted from the monthly bundle.
The pilot starts today, Monday, September 1 and will run till June 30, 2014.
KPN said it currently reaches 50% of the Dutch population with its new 4G network. Before the end of the year, the operator expects reach to be around 80% reaching full nationwide coverage at the end of Q1, 2014.
