Michel de Rosen has been unanimously appointed chairman and CEO of Eutelsat.
The move follows Jean-Martin Folz’s decision to resign as chairman after informing the board that he would not seek to renew his mandate, which expires at the General Assembly of Shareholders on November 7.
Folz did not renew his mandate in order to respect corporate governance recommendations on multiple directorships by the Afep-Medef.
He will remain a board member until the General Assembly.
De Rosen has been CEO of Eutelsat since 2009.
