DVB-T2 services will not be introduced in the Czech Republic before 2015.
Digizone reports that this will be a blow to the national transmission company Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRa), which has just published a plan to launch such services, including pay-DTT, next year.
However, the Czech Telecom Office (CTU) is of the view that the launch such only take place after the 2015 ITU conference in Geneva, which will clarify the number of channels the Czech Republic will be able to us DVB-T2 on.
The CRa is currently undertaking a DVB-T2 trial that is due to finish in January 2014.
