UPC has upgraded its cable services in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
In the former, it is now offering a package consisting of internet access at up to 240 Mbps, hundreds of TV channels, including 25 in HD, for CZK859 (€33.4) a month to subscribers who sign up for a year.
Those wishing to receive a basic service now find it includes 40Mbps internet access, 50 TV channels and a thematic package, all for CZK499 a month.
Meanwhile in Slovakia, UPC has added seven more channels to its offer, bringing the total to nearly 150, up to 20 of which are in HD.
The new services are STV2 HD, Dajto HD, CT:D/CT art, Animal Planet HD, CNBC, Crime & Investigation and Fightbox HD.
UPC Broadband Slovakia’s digital service is now available in 30 cities and has over 130,000 subscribers.
