AXN White and AXN Black will make their debuts in Romania on October 1.
Quoting a release from Sony Pictures Television Networks (SPT), Medaifax reports that the two channels, also being made available in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria, will replace AXN Crime and AXN Sci-fi.
In Romania, SPT’s offer from the beginning of October will consist of AXN, AXN white, AXN Black, AXN Spin (a youth channel), AXN player (online) and AXBN Now (VOD service).
AXN Crime and AXN Sci-fi are currently carried by RCS&RDS, Romtelecom, UPC, Focus Sat, Digital Cable Systems, Next Gen Communications and several smaller cable operators in Romania.
AXN, on the other hand, currently has over 16 million subscribers in the CEE region.
