EuroSummit’13 celebrates 10 years cable marketing

Senior executives, representing cable, content and all cable industry suppliers will be heading to Barcelona on September 19 and 20 to attend EuroSummit’13, held at the Rey Juan Carlos I Hotel.

The 10th anniversary gathering of the industry’s marketing, sales and customer care leaders organised by CTAM Europe. This anniversary event will showcase top industry speakers such as: Mike Fries, President and CEO of Liberty Global; James Murdoch, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Chairman and CEO International of 21st Century Fox; Ben Verwaayen, former CEO of BT and Alcatel Lucent; Don Tapscott, Co-author, Wikinomics and Macrowikinomics and Author of Grown Up Digital; with moderators including leading media commentator Ray Snoddy, CNN’s anchor Nina dos Santos, Kate Bulkley and BBC business and travel presenter Aaron Heslehurst.

CTAM Europe’s Chairman, Eric Tveter will open EuroSummit’13, and introduce the Day 1 keynote speaker, Don Tapscott, who will share his view about the impact of the digital revolution on business and society, discussing the implications of these transformations for the cable and media businesses.

The day ends with the 2013 Creative Awards Program (CAP) Ceremony, where the gold, silver and bronze winners will be announced for the best marketing campaigns in 2013 that have built or sustained strong brands. The ceremony will be followed by the EuroSummit Party at the W Hotel.

On Day 2 there will be a Breakfast session for early risers focusing on “The Next Generation On-Demand Ecosystem – Ready or Not, Here it Comes”.

The morning will unfold with the CEO Forum, where investors and cable CEOs will talk about the business. After two concurrent sessions on “TV Everywhere Update: What’s Trending in Europe?” and “Small and Medium Enterprises – untapped potential for Cable?” Nina dos Santos, CNN’s anchor will interview two iconic industry figures: Mike Fries, President & CEO of Liberty Global and James Murdoch, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Chairman and CEO International of 21st Century Fox.
