Danish telco TDC continues to enjoy growth for its IPTV service, while its YouSee cable operation has suffered from subscriber erosion among housing groups.
ARPU increases in YouSee and continued net additions for TDC TV – 7,000 on the quarter – helped increase TV revenues by DKK 127m or 6.5%.
TDC TV’s ARPU, which grew by DKK 10, benefitted from a PPV boxing event and a reduction in introductory discounts.
YouSee’s revenue rose by 3.4%. Subscription fee were only partly offset by a year-on-year RGU loss and customers migrating to smaller TV packages. In total, year-on-year ARPU increased by 4.9%.
