Bulgaria’s Nova Broadcasting Group, which is backed by Modern Times Group (MTG), has launched a new HD sports channel.
Known as Nova Sport HD, it will have a strong focus on English football, showing games from the Premier League and various tournaments, though at the same time also feature a number of other sports including basketball, professional boxing, field sports, golf and speedway.
Nova Sport HD will be distributed in premium packages offered by cable and satellite operators.
Nova Sport HD joins a growing portfolio of channels operated by Nova Broadcasting Group. It includes Kino Nova, Diema, KinoNova, Diema Family, Nova Sport and four pay-TV services.
