Dutch incumbent KPN has launched its IPTV service Interactieve TV on Windows 8 computers.
Customers can now watch streaming live channels on their laptops, pc’s and tablets which run on Windows 8. The operator has developed a free-to-download app in cooperation with Microsoft.
KPN said it is the first platform to offer streaming TV channels on the Windows 8 platform.
Viewers can access the service when they are at home. Away from home, they can programme recordings, but will not be able to access any content.
