Croatia‘s evoTV launches cardless DVB-T2 pay TV

July 25, 2013 08.37 Europe/London By Robert Briel

PR-Grundig-evoTV-NEOTION-GB_Page_1Neotion, a provider of services for the digital TV market, has developed EvoTV Cam, a new cardless platform for evoTV, Croatian Post’s pay-TV service over DVB-T2.

The new Neotion Cam is powered by Irdeto Media Content Protection on Cardless features and registered as a CI Plus 1.3 module.

EvoTV Cam was developed accordingly to the technical requirements of HP Produkcija, a company wholly owned by Croatian Post. Croatian partner Chipoteka also supported Neotion locally during the entire project.

The Cam is to be bundled with DVB-T2 TV-sets especially designed by Grundig for the evoTV offer. The whole package is from now on distributed across Croatia through the Grundig local network coordinated by Alles d.o.o.

EvoTV users can choose among seven thematic channel packages and exchange them as they see fit. During the first year, they receive the HBO and Cinemax bouquet for free. As an introductory offer, all viewers can also watch all bouquets for just HRK1 during the first two months.

“The evoTV CAM represents the first step of Neotion in Croatia with a customized product. We believe in the success of this recent DVB-T2 offer and have associated our know-how to develop a new Cardless CAM. Moreover the cooperation with Grundig and Chipoteka opens the door to the local distribution network with the aim to bring a ready to view package to evoTV users,” said Quentin Hamard, sales manager at Neotion.
