The leading cable operator Volia has entered into its first partnerships for the distribution of the next generation TV service VOLIA Smart HD, which it launched in March this year.
According to the company, they are with the ISPs Miksnet and Telsa, operating in the Kiev region and Zaporozhye, with the service having until now being limited to its own networks.
Volia is one of the first cable operators in the world to provide full pay-TV services outside its own coverage area using OTT technology.
Customers have access to over 130 linear TV channels, over 12,000 movies and TV shows, an online service catalogue and popular video on YouTube with an internet connection of only 5Mbps.
